The Pacific Marine Mammal Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine mammals along the coast of California, particularly focusing on seals and sea lions. They provide medical treatment, nourishment, and a safe environment for injured or stranded marine mammals, working towards their eventual return to the wild while also conducting research and education to promote marine conservation.

Come meet the PMMC team! Visitors can engage in educational activities and view displays showcasing rescued marine mammals - fostering a deeper connection to the marine environment and inspiring action to support its preservation.

Festival of Whales attendees are in for a whale-sized surprise this year with the arrival of Winston the Whale, a 56-foot-long, anatomically correct inflatable whale. This life-sized exhibit offers a unique opportunity for visitors to explore the fascinating world of marine mammals up close.

Winston is more than just an impressive sight—he's an interactive teaching tool designed to educate festival-goers about the anatomy, biology, and conservation of whales. Step inside Winston to learn how these gentle giants navigate the ocean, what they eat, and how they play a critical role in maintaining a healthy marine ecosystem.

This engaging exhibit is perfect for all ages, combining fun with education. Whether you're a marine life enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable festival experience, Winston the Whale promises to be an unforgettable addition to this year’s Festival of Whales. Don’t miss the chance to meet him and discover the wonders of the ocean firsthand!
